We are a diverse group of chemists, biologists, and engineers united by curiosity about the origins and engineering of life.
Professor at CIBIO, University of Trento and Armenise-Harvard Foundation awardee. His research focuses on building artificial cells from non-living components to understand the chemical origins of life.
PhD student at the Armenise-Harvard Labaratory at CIBIO. I graduated from IISER Mohali, India with a BS-MS in Biology and Chemistry; and I worked at UNSW, Sydney for my master thesis in non-enzymatic replication of RNA in microfluidics. l am extremely interested in Astrobiology, origins of life and pre-biotic chemistry; and currently working on vesicles and protocells based on lipid systems. Amidst research, I love hiking, cooking, watching stars and spiders, and to wanderlust!
Hi, I'm Ritesh, a Pre-Doctoral Researcher in the Mansy Lab with a background in Astrobiology and Earth Sciences. My work focuses on fatty acid vesicle permeability and prebiotic chemistry, with a broader interest in understanding how early protocells may have given rise to life. Outside the lab, I love travelling to new places, hiking, and geeking out over tech including maintaining this website!
